I was invited by Coudal Partners in Dec of 2007 to “battle” in the first-ever Layer Tennis Match using After Effects. My opponent was Jason Koxvold. The basic idea is that each player has 15 minutes to respond to the last volley and post their movie. I got to do the first volley and came up with a little guy who was called “Ballsy.” Jason proceed to pummel him and drown him and then explode him. All I have to say is it sure looks like Ballsy had a good time.
